Individual styles within the Interface range feature different colours and surface patterns. In many cases, these styles also offer the designer the opportunity to create patterns during the laying process, thereby achieving a unique look.
The main laying patterns are:
| Quarter-turn |
| Ashlar |
| Brick |
| Non Directional |
| Monolithic (giving the appearance of continuous broadloom) |
Carpet tiles have a further creative advantage: they can be cut by hand to create large-scale illustrative patterns, such as logos and other rug effects
The modular concept has another inherent advantage for clients: as the tiles are fixed using low-tack adhesive, ad hoc replacement is easy with the minimum amount of time and effort.
InterfaceFLOR has developed several styles specifically for non directional installation. As well as all the normal advantages of modular flooring, these have the additional benefit of creating less wastage during installation, and thus have a greater inherent degree of sustainability.
