Ton van Keken

Senior Vice President, Operations

Ton van Keken is Senior Vice President of Operations at InterfaceFLOR in Europe, a division of US based Interface Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of environmentally responsible modular floor coverings.

Ton is deeply immersed in the corporate mission to make Interface a sustainable business through the worldwide effort to develop a sustainable manufacturing and competitive value chain.

As a member of the European Executive Team, Ton has specific responsibility for developing and executing the Operations Strategy with regard to product and process development, supply chain management, procurement, distribution and manufacturing within InterfaceFLOR's European operation.

Ton began his career in the Royal Dutch Air Force as a Technical Officer, later going on to join the Dutch machine manufacturer Stork, where he held a variety of managerial positions including Area Manager, Supply Chain Manager and Unit Manager. In 2004 Ton became Senior Vice President, Operations for Interface Europe. Ton hopes to use his position to continue the strong improvement rate in all areas of the organisation - People, Profit, Planet, Production, and Process; aimed at increasing customer satisfaction with capable and committed employees at the manufacturing units.

In addition to his board membership of the European Carpet and Rug Association (E.C.R.A), Ton is a board member of the Dutch Organisation of Carpet Manufacturers “VNTF” and the Dutch Organisation in Fashion, Textiles, Interiors and Carpet “MODINT.”

Ton is an active sportsman and enjoys mountain biking, tennis, skiing, hiking and diving. A Dutch national, he is married with two children.
