Sample cards and the 'take back' scheme

While sample cards still remain an important part of the selection process, the Tool Kit aims to offer a viable alternative, in order to reduce the amount of cards used and ultimately wasted.

Our improvements have meant that we now adopt more sustainable and responsible practices: we use more recycled materials and processes, approved suppliers and policies and have developed a ‘take back’ and ‘offset’ system.

An integral part of the project is to provide our customers with a ‘take back’ service. They can use a prepaid postage sticker to return samples over five kilos in weight (equivalent to four 50cm x 50cm carpet tiles).

The collected samples will be separated into what can be recycled via normal processes, or sent to our ReEntry® partner as ‘waste for energy’.

And that’s not all. With the help of Climate Care, we will invest in projects that reduce or reverse the impact of emissions created by our couriers.
